Why Use A Nano Mister For Lash Extensions

In our field, we want nothing more than for our clients to be happy and in this case happiness equates to a beautiful set of lashes. The key to successfully applying a long and lasting set of eyelash extensions is to understand the products your using.

So today we’re going to discuss the difference between glue and adhesive.

I know what you’re thinking — there’s a difference?

And the answer is YES!  The difference is big enough to have a significant impact on the end result your clients lashes…and their happiness.

What is the difference between glue and adhesive?

Adhesives used in application of eyelash extensions are often called “glues,” which is incorrect. The adhesives used in the case of applying lashes are in fact an Acrylic Resins (Cyanoacrylate Adhesive). These Acrylic Resins, UNLIKE glue, do not dry, but instead cure when in contact with Hydrogen (water).

Glue, on the other hand, harder while in the process of drying and this can become uncomfortable for the client. It can also leave your clients with long term sensitivity, sometimes even resulting in never being able to wear lashes again.

So where to go forth with this new understanding of glue vs. adhesive?

The Nano Mister.

What is the Nano Mister?

The Nano Mister is a must have for your lash service. With an ultra-fine mist, the Nano Mister is truly a lash technicians best friend. Since lash adhesives are molecularly attracted to water, using the nano mister speeds up the curing process. Therefore, instead of waiting 24 hours to wet the lashes, clients can come in contact with water as soon as 5-6 hours after application.

This is a win/win for everyone involved. Your client no longer has to worry about getting their lashes wet within the first 24 hours. Plus, you both can say good-bye to the threat of flash drying or lashes curing together.
